This work is one of my first, but it is still in progress.
Thanks to a hand-made kaleidoscopic lens, semi-automatic portraits are taken to analyze the accident and the will, both of mine and the portrayeds'.
This lens is so bulky that I am forced to stop, breath out slowly, focus and shot, attempting to maintain the control but also not entirely knowing what will happen. At the same time people are aware of being photographed and think I have a very big professional tele, so they strike a pose that would never result as they imagine. Therefore involuntary half expressions or other faces come to light from the surface and take their own autonomy, telling the story of the chance, which I'm interested to since I was a child.
